My stay at The Marlton Hotel was a mixed experience. I loved the quaint, boutique feel and the location right in the heart of Greenwich Village, but I was disappointed with the size of the room and the somewhat inconsistent service. While the cleanliness and charm of the hotel stood out, I wished for a bit more comfort and warmth from the staff.
Rooms
6.0
The rooms were quite small, but well-appointed. I knew they would be compact, yet I found it a bit cramped, especially for the price point. The bathroom was adequate, but there wasn’t much space for my things, which made it a bit challenging.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and helpful most of the time, but my experiences varied. At moments, their attentiveness was excellent, like when I requested ice and it arrived quickly. However, there were times when I expected a warmer approach, especially during busy hours.
Location

The location was absolutely fantastic! I loved being surrounded by numerous restaurants and coffee shops, and it was easy to access the subway. It made exploring the city really convenient, which was a highlight for me.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast, though it was a bit limited in variety. The setup in the bar area was nice, but I found the breakfast choices could have been more diverse. Still, it was a decent start to my mornings.
Facilities
6.0
The overall facilities were charming, and I appreciated the aesthetic of the hotel. However, the elevator was out of service a couple of times, making it a bit difficult especially since my room was on the fourth floor. I also found the bar a tad overpriced for what was offered.

My stay at The Marlton Hotel was quite pleasant overall. I loved the vintage charm and cozy atmosphere, though I did encounter some challenges with room size and noise levels from other guests. The staff was attentive and the location was perfect for exploring Greenwich Village, but I wish the breakfast options were a bit more extensive.

I had a pleasant stay at The Marlton Hotel with its lovely boutique vibes and charm. The location in Greenwich Village is fantastic, but the rooms are quite tiny—just be prepared for that! The service could use a bit more warmth, but the ambiance is inviting and perfect for relaxing with a drink. Overall, it's a mixed bag of great features and a few drawbacks. 😊

The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated, but seriously cramped—there was barely enough space to open my suitcase. I had a queen bed, which was comfortable, but I felt a bit boxed in overall.
Service

While the staff were generally polite, the service felt a bit cold. I didn't receive any extra offers for help with luggage, and the breakfast information could have been more clearly communicated.

The hotel's location in Greenwich Village is a highlight. It's away from the tourist traps but close to fantastic restaurants and bars. Plus, the subway is just a three-minute walk away!

The hotel has a charming atmosphere with a lovely lounge. However, it lacks certain amenities like room service, which could enhance the experience.

My stay at The Marlton was pleasant overall, with some significant highlights and a couple of drawbacks. The location in Greenwich Village is fantastic, situated close to various attractions and dining options. The room, while small, was impeccably clean and had a cozy feel. However, I found the lack of workspace in my room to be inconvenient, especially as I had some important paperwork to complete during my stay. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it for a short stay, but keep in mind the space limitations. 😊
